Hiya Jezzika! Yes, you can make your own clothing, accessories, and animations. I dropped a link to the SDK in the first post on this thread and there is a lot of software that one can use to create objects and/or animations. I don't work with 3d assets, so i wouldn't know a good program to use for creating 3d items, but i know that Motion Builder is an exceptional application for animations. It's just difficult to pick up as a newbie. You can also get a 3 year student trial for Motion Builder. I'm not too sure how good 3DS Max and Maya are for 3d creation, but Val would likely know what's powerful and what's simple since she has been making shoes. 3DS Max and Maya should also have free 3 year student versions available and all of those applications have free 30 day trials. Blender is also a free application that might come in handy.

I use 3ds max for ages now but maya, blender, hudini are all capable to do the same, the main difference is the menues, shortcuts etc.

but if you never did something in 3D, I wouldnt suggest to start with clothes expecially because you need to create specific textures (physical based rendering)

Thanks so much once again! What would be the best program to start of with and using to create something in 3d? I will take a look into all the different programs. ūüôā¬†

I would suggest Blender because its free. That program is for modelling only. then you need program to add little detail (maybe possible in blender too) and I am using Zbrush for that. for texturing its common to use Quixel or Substance Painter 2 nowadays.

so the least 3 programs you need to learn ^_^
